You're puffing on your RandM Vape and suddenly the mouthpiece is wet, it's gurgling, or you have e-liquid on your finger. Annoying, but not necessarily a defect. In most cases, it's physics plus usage: position, pressure, and temperature cause e-liquid to go where it shouldn't.

How to tell if it's really "leaking"
Not everything that's wet is a leak.
- Condensate: a thin film, rather clear, often after many puffs. Comes from vapor that re-liquefies in the mouthpiece.
- Airflow flooded: it gurgles, the draw feels "wet," sometimes it splutters minimally. Usually after flat storage or very strong drawing.
- Actual leak: E-liquid repeatedly leaks from the device housing, regardless of storage and drawing technique. This is rarer and more of a device problem.
Quick Checklist, find the cause in 60 seconds
- Is the device often stored flat or upside down (bag, sofa, car)?
- Do you draw very hard or very quickly in succession (like a cigarette)?
- Were there temperature changes (cold outside, warm inside) or was it left in the sun, near a heater, or in a car?
- Does it only happen at the beginning (first puffs after transport) or constantly?
- Is it gurgling or is there just a light film on the mouthpiece?
If you answer "yes" to 1 to 3, it's almost always usage plus environment, not a "bad vape."
Why this happens
A Tornado Vape is not a hermetically sealed system. E-liquid sits in a chamber, the air channel runs separately, but both react to pressure and movement.
- Flat storage allows e-liquid to migrate towards the air channel due to capillary action. The next puff sends it into the airflow.
- Strong drawing creates negative pressure. Negative pressure draws in more e-liquid than the atomizer can process cleanly. Result: flooding, gurgling, wet puffs.
- Temperature changes alter the viscosity and internal pressure. Warm e-liquid is thinner and flows more easily. At the same time, air expands, which can push e-liquid into the air channel.
- Transport is the amplifier. Backpacks, jacket pockets, constant tilting are enough to disrupt the balance in the device.
What you can do immediately without "disassembling" the device
- Stand it upright (mouthpiece up) and wait 10 to 20 minutes.
- Wipe the mouthpiece dry outside and inside (kitchen paper is sufficient).
- Reduce drawing technique: 2 to 3 seconds, calm, no ripping.
- Breaks: 5 to 10 seconds between puffs, so that pressure and flow stabilize.
- After temperature changes, let it acclimate briefly, don't "test" it immediately.
If liquid still continuously leaks afterwards, it's no longer normal condensate.
What you should do differently in the future
- Transport rule: always with the mouthpiece facing up, not horizontally in your bag.
- No continuous puffs: Leaks are more often caused by pace than by model.
- Avoid heat: Car in summer, windowsill, heater are e-liquid killers.
- Sleeping place rule: do not leave it lying flat on the nightstand overnight.
When you need to take a closer look
- Actual e-liquid in your mouth (not just flavor), repeatedly.
- Strong gurgling for hours despite upright storage and calm puffs.
-
Visible leakage from the housing.
Then exchange or inspection makes sense, instead of continuing to try things.
FAQ
Why does my RandM Vape leak after transport?
Because movement and flat positioning bring e-liquid into the air channel. Store upright, wait briefly, dry the mouthpiece, then draw.
Is gurgling a defect?
Usually not. Gurgling often means the airflow is too wet. The cause is frequently strong drawing or flat storage.
Does drawing harder help to "clear it"?
No. That often makes it worse because you draw in more e-liquid. Better: draw calmly and take breaks.
Why does it happen more often in winter or with temperature changes?
Because e-liquid and air pressure change. Warm makes e-liquid thinner, cold promotes condensation. Both can flood the air channel.
When should I check for authenticity?
If the behavior remains atypical, especially if multiple devices from the same source are problematic or it feels "chemical" and unstable. Feel free to check the authenticity here.
