2. Meaning of the Symbols

Batteries that must not be disposed of with household waste are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin. This symbol indicates that you must dispose of batteries separately.

In addition, you will find chemical symbols on batteries that indicate harmful substances they contain:

  • Cd = Cadmium
